Iran Wins Peace, Friendship Wushu Competitions

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran won the first edition of the Peace and Friendship International Wushu Competitions held in the Iranian southeastern city of Iranshahr.

“In the three-day competitions, which were held in Iranshahr, southeast Iran, a total of 120 athletes from three countries of Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan competed together,” Head of Iranshahr Wushu Committee Ashkan Arvand said on Wednesday.

According to him, the Iranian athletes participating at 10 weight classes, won nine gold medals out of 10.

Iran finished in first place, followed by Afghanistan and Pakistan.
