Iranian Army Prepared for Implementing Strategic Missions
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces praised the country’s Army as one being ready to fulfill strategic missions.
Issuing a statement on Wednesday, the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces extended congratulations on the occasion of the National Army Day and said the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army has turned into a "true example of a military organization prepared to carry out strategic missions" for boosting the country’s defense structure and elevating its deterrence capability.
It underlined that the all-out preparedness of the armed forces of the country instill fear in enemies while serving as a source of confidence and peace for the Iranian nation.
The statement further described the unity and cohesion of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic as a pivotal strategic asset for the country and an honor for the nation.
It went on to say that the harmony, coordination, and collaboration between the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) in defense operations have manifested the magnificent strength of the country and the abundant capabilities of the Iranian nation to tackle threats.
The Islamic Republic holds the National Army Day every year in honor of its land, sea and air forces.
This year, it will mark the National Army Day on Friday, April 18. The most recent achievements of the Iranian Army will be put on display during military parades on Friday.
