No Need in Military Build-Up in Eastern Ukraine: Hungarian FM

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affair Janos Martonyi said it was premature to enhance military presence in east Ukraine at the GlobSec 2014 forum on Wednesday.

"Military build in Eastern Ukraine would be premature and unnecessary at the moment," said Martonyi.

His Slovak counterpart Miroslav Lajcak echoed him in saying that all that can be done is underway, referring to the sanctions against individuals and businesses in Russia and Ukraine and also the military preparations of individual V4 countries to secure their borders, Xinhua reported.

"We should work on deescalating the situation first," Lajcak added.
