Indonesian Parliamentary Delegation Due in Tehran Next Month

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An Indonesian parliamentary delegation is scheduled to pay a visit to Tehran next month to hold talks with Iranian officials on issues of mutual interest.

The members of the Indonesian parliamentary commission on financial affairs of the Hajj pilgrimage will pay a visit to Tehran on August 9.

The Indonesian lawmakers will stay in the Islamic Republic for five days and meet with Iranian parliamentarians as well as other officials.

Iran-Indonesia trade reached $1.132 billion in 2012, with Iran's share of exports to Indonesia standing at $597 million.

Iran exported liquefied propane, urea, gas turbines, bitumen, lead, and tea to Indonesia, while imported paper, home appliances, coal, and drilling equipment.
