Iran in Group B of World Handball Championship

The Iranian team has been pitted against Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Austria and Tunisia in Group B.

Defending champion ‎Spain and European giant Slovenia are in Group A along with host Qatar.

A total of 24 teams are divided into four groups of six teams.

The 24th edition of the World Men’s Handball Championship will be held in Doha, Qatar from January 15 to February 1.

The Groups:

Group A: Spain, Belarus, Qatar, Slovenia, Chile, Brazil
Group B: Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, FYR Macedonia, Austria, Iran, Tunisia
Group C: France, Sweden, Algeria, Czech Republic, United Arab Emirates, Egypt
Group D: Denmark, Poland, Russia, Argentina, Bahrain, Germany
