Scores Killed in Attack on Iraq Prisoner Convoy
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iraqi police say that at least 60 people have been killed north of Baghdad after suicide bombers and armed men attacked a bus transferring convicts and clashes erupted security forces.
The dead include prisoners and policemen, an official at the Interior Ministry told AFP.
Thursday's assault came a year almost to the day after an attack on two Iraqi prisons freed some 500 inmates.
