Enemies Puzzled by Iran’s Defense Power: Commander

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s success in configuring its defensive capabilities with threats has left the enemies in a quandary, a top commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps said on Monday.

Speaking in a gathering of high-ranking officers, IRGC Navy Commander Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi said Iran’s increased defensive capabilities have consequently reinforced the country’s deterrent power.

The Islamic republic has managed to manufacture a range of defensive equipment to deal with the security threats, the commander explained.

Speaking earlier on Sunday, Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi had announced that Iran’s military capabilities have reached such a high level that the adversaries would not even dare to think of a battle against the country.

He underlined that development of “deterrent power” in Iran has detered the enemies from making any wrong move.

Iran’s high-ranking officials have time and again warned the enemies of the grave consequences of any military move against the country.

Earleir, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Brigadier General Massoud Jazayeri had underlined that the Iran's defensive power is beyond the necessary level to counter threats posed by ordinary armies, emphasizing that the country’s armed forces are capable enough to confront big powers.

Tehran has repeatedly assured other nations that its military might poses no threats to other countries, saying that the Islamic Republic’s defense doctrine is entirely based on deterrence.
