Iranian Junior Wrestler Passes Away after Car Accident
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian junior Greco-Roman wrestler Hossein Khajevand has died following a collision with a car in a busy road in Tehran, capital of Iran.
Khajevand was in a coma for five days in Tehran’s Loghman Hakim Hospital.
He was part of the Iranian team, which is going to participate at the FILA Junior World Championships in Zagreb, Croatia from August 5-10.
The Iranian wrestlers will wear the black ribbons to remember their late teammate in the competitions.
