Iran’s Commercial Delegation to Visit Baku

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Traders from Iran’s northwestern province of Ardebil will accompany a high-ranking economic delegation to the Azerbaijan Republic next week.

The delegation, headed by Iranian Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi, will discuss ways for enhancing trade ties with the northern neighbor, Hossein Pirmoazzen, chairman of Ardebil Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture told the Tasnim News Agency on Friday.

He added that the first joint chamber of commerce between Iran and Azerbaijan will be launched during the three-day trip.

Pirmoazzen went on saying that the trip is also aimed at boosting investments between the two countries and paving the way for a visit by Iran’s president to Baku.

The Republic of Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev paid a visit to Tehran in April to consult with senior Iranian officials on bilateral and regional issues and the expansion of mutual relations.
