Germany Coach Heynen Surprised to Defeat Iran Volleyball Team
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Germany coach Vital Heynen said that he didn't expect such result against Iran in the FIVB Men’s World Championship.
Germany beat Iran in Pool G of the competition in straight sets (25-15, 25-21, 25-19) at Spodek Arena of Katowice on Wednesday.
“Yesterday (Tuesday) all was wrong with our team, today(Wednesday) my team showed other face,” Germany coach Vital Heynen FIVB. org in the post match news conference.
“We played good in block and defense. It’s hard to say what happened with us, I’m surprised that I’m sitting in the place of the winner,” he added.
