Iran Wheelchair Basketball Defeats Malaysia
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran wheelchair basketball team defeated Malaysia in its opening match in the 2014 Asian Para Games on Friday.
Iran defeated Malaysia 84-44 at the Samsan World Gymnasium in Incheon.
The Iranian team will play Kuwait on Saturday.
Iran has been drawn in Pool B along with Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand and Kuwait.
Pool A consists of host South Korea, Japan, the UAE, Chinese Taipei and Iraq.
2014 Asian Para Games will be held in Incheon from October 18 to 24. The games will feature around 5,000 athletes competing across 23 sports.
