Iran’s Wheelchair Basketball Defeats Thailand in Asian Para Games
INCHEON (Tasnim) – Iran’s national wheelchair basketball team defeated Thailand in the Asian Para Games on Sunday.
In the match held at the Samsan World Gymnasium, the Iranian team defeated Thailand 93-48 in Pool B.
“Thailand is a strong team and had won its previous two matches. We could not take nothing for granted against them,” Iran coach Abbas Aghakouchaki said.
Iran will play Hong Kong on Monday.
Pool A consists of host South Korea, Japan, the UAE, Chinese Taipei and Iraq.
