Iranian Shooter Javanmardi Wins Gold in P2-10m Air Pistol-SH1

INCHEON (Tasnim) – Iran’s Sareh Javanmardi claimed a gold medal in the Women's P2-10m Air Pistol-SH1 on Monday.

Javanmardi finished in the first place with 380 points at the Ongnyeon International Shooting Range 2.

Mongolian Narantsetseg Choinoo claimed the silver with 365 points and South Korean Myung-Soon Park came third with 363 points.

Javanmardi had won the gold medal in the Mixed 50 meter pistol SH1 on Sunday.

Iran has previously won four gold medals in the games.

Vahid Keshtkar claimed a gold medal in the men's 400 m freestyle S13.

Erfan Hosseini won the gold medal in the men's javelin throw F12–13.

Sareh Javanmardi earned the gold medal in the Mixed 50 meter pistol SH1.

Discus thrower Alireza Mokhtari clinched a gold medal in the men’s F51/52/53.

Peyman Nasiri won the gold medal of the Men's 1,500m T20 final.

The 2014 Asian Para Games started on October 18 in Incheon, South Korea and will last until 24. The games feature around 5,000 athletes competing across 23 sports.
