Iran 4th in Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran came fourth in the 2014 Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup on Saturday.
The Iranian team was defeated against Portugal 3-0 in the third-place match.
Title-holder Iran had already lost to Portugal 4-2 in its first match in the tournament.
Brazil took the title with a 3-2 victory over two-time champion Russia at Dubai International Marine Club.
Iran defeated UAE 2-1 and Morocco 5-0 in the fourth edition of the 2014 Beach Soccer Intercontinental.
