Iran Unveils Comprehensive Website on Human Rights Issues

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran unveiled a comprehensive official website named “Rapporteur” in a bid to provide accurate and unbiased reports about the human rights violations across the world.

The website was officially unveiled during a ceremony held at the Tasnim News Agency’s office in Tehran on Sunday evening with a number of high-ranking officials in attendance.

Vahid Ahmadi, a member of the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, Laleh Eftekhari, Tehran’s representative in the parliament, were among the figures participated in the ceremony.

The Rapporteur website aims to provide unique information about cases human rights violations in certain countries, including the US, France, Canada, and Britain.

It will also study the West’s double-standard approach toward the issue of human rights in its allies, like Saudi Arabia and some Persian Gulf countries.
