Former Spokesman Appointed as Iran’s Envoy to Poland


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Ramin Mehmanparst, the former Iranian foreign ministry spokesman, was appointed as the Islamic Republic’s new ambassador to Poland.

Mehmanparst was formerly appointed as the special foreign minister consultant and Foreign Ministry spokesman in 2009.

He also served as Iranian deputy foreign minister for consular, parliamentary, and Iranian expatriates’ affairs.

Mehmanparst has also served as the Iranian ambassador to Thailand and Kazakhstan.
