The Syrian army killed the commander of the militant attack, called "Abu Omar", and injured all the infiltrating terrorists.
The Syrian military also killed many terrorists and destroyed their equipment and heavy weaponry during operations that targeted their gatherings and dens in other areas, Al-Manar reported.
In the past few months, the Syrian army has inflicted heavy losses on the terrorist militants, killing and injuring scores of them, destroying their weaponry and forcing them out of major parts of the country.
