In a message to Brunei’s King Hassanal Bolkiah , Rouhani expressed the hope that ties between the two countries would expand in line with the mutual interests of the two Muslim nations.
He also wished health and success for government and nation of Brunei.
Brunei is an independent sultanate on the island of Borneo in the Malay Archipelago. The sultanate gained independence in 1984 and observes its National Day each year on February 23.
