Iran to Play Malaysia at IWBF Asia-Oceania Opener
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran will play Malaysia in its opening match in the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF) Asia-Oceania Championship.
The Championship will take place at the Chiba Port Arena, Japan from October 7 to 18.
There will be twelves men’s teams competing for three spots and three women’s teams competing for one spot to Rio 2016.
Iran has been drawn in Group A along with Australia, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Chinese Taipei.
Group B consists of host Japan, China, Afghanistan, South Korea, Thailand and the UAE.
Iran will open the campaign on October 10 with Malaysia.
