Davutoglu said in an interview on NTV that Turkey will sit down with Russian and Iranian officials to find a diplomatic solution in Syria, adding that Ankara would not take a foreign policy stance which "legitimizes the Syrian regime".
He further said that Russian airstrikes in Idlib and Aleppo in Syria could cause a further influx of refugees into Turkey.
On September 30, Russia, upon a formal request by Syrian President Bashar Assad, started launching airstrikes against ISIL targets in Syria by Sukhoi Su-25 ground attack planes, Su-24 and Su-34 bombers.
