Nemati advanced to the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio after finishing in the first place in Asian Para Archery Championships on Saturday.

Nemati had already secured a historic slot at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games following her performance at the Asian Archery Championships in Bangkok, Thailand.

“Nemati did a great job to secure a spot for next year's Olympic and Paralympic Games. The disabled Iranian woman has inspired other women to take up sport,” Goodarzi said.
