Poursheib, Ganjzadeh to Represent Iran at Karate1 Premier League
TEHRAN (Tasnim)- Zabihollah Poursheib and Sajjad Ganjzadeh will represent Iran in the Karate1 Premier League in Japan.
The Iranian duo traveled to the East Asian country on Wednesday.
Karate1 Premier League will be held in Okinawa, Japan, on November 28-29.
“I hope we will get good results in the prestigious event. I think the event will help us prepare for the next year’s world championship since the best athletes around the world will come to Japan,” Poursheib said.
“The Japanese karate federation has invited us to compete in the event and it proves Iran’s karate capability,” he added.
Gold medal winner will be handed 500 Euro in cash, while silver and bronze medalists will earn 300 and 100 Euro.
