In a message carried on his official website on Sunday, Jahangiri extended his “sincere” congratulations to Beata Szydło, who was appointed Prime Minister of Poland on November 16th, after the Law and Justice party (PiS) secured a landslide victory in the country’s general election last month.

Jahangiri expressed the hope that the already growing ties and cooperation between Tehran and Warsaw would continue to flourish in all areas during the new prime minister’s term.

Iran’s first vice president also wished good health and success for Szydło.
