Iran has been drawn in Group B along with Jordan, Iraq and China.
“We have been handed a tough group but it doesn’t matter since we are going to win the title. We should defeat all opponents in the tournament,” Nazemosharia told Tasnim.
“We will hold a training camp in China and then a week-long preparatory camp in Tehran starting from January 13,” he added.
“In my view, all Asian teams are strong in the tournament but host Uzbekistan, Japan and Thailand are more powerful than others,” Iran’s futsal coach said.
Iran will start the campaign on February 10 in a match against Jordan.
Team Melli will face China and Iraq on February 12 and 14, respectively.
AFC Futsal Championship Uzbekistan 2016 will be held in Tashkent from February 10 to 21.
