Iran Drawn in Asian Men's Handball Championship Group B
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian national team has been drawn in Group B of the Asian Men's Handball Championship.
The Iranian team has been pitted against host Bahrain, the UAE, China, Saudi Arabia, and Lebanon.
Group A consists of Qatar, Japan, South Korea, Oman, Syria, and Macau.
The competition will be held in Manama, Bahrain from January 15 to 28.
The Asian Handball Nations Championship is the official competition for senior national handball teams of Asia, and takes place every two years.
In addition to crowning the Asian champions, the tournament also serves as a qualifying tournament for the World Championship.
