The 25-year-old power forward is reunited with coach Mehran Hatemi in the Iranian basketball team.
They have already worked together in Petrochimi Bandar Imam, where they won the Iranian Basketball Super League in 2013-14.
In 25 games for Petrochimi, he averaged 12.7 points, 11.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 2.3 steals per game.
In July 2014, Kazemi joined the 76ers for the 2014 NBA Summer League.
In September 2014, he signed with the Chongqing Soaring Dragons of the Chinese Basketball Association. He appeared in 27 games for Chongqing and averaged 15.0 points and 13.7 rebounds per game.
