The members of the Iranian team were greeted by the Iranian officials in Qatar.

Mohammad Khakpour’s team has been drawn in Group A of the event, which will be held in Doha from January 12 to 30.

Iran will open the competition with a match against Syria.

Host Qatar and China are in the group as well.

The tournament will serve as the 2016 Olympic qualifier.
