Iran has been pitted against Iraq, China and Jordan in Group B of the competition.
The most decorated futsal team in Asia will open the campaign with Jordan on February 10.
“We know very well teams such as Japan and Thailand have improved a lot during the last years but we are reday to win the title,” Nazemosharia said.
“We have so many good players in our country that’s why we have won the Asian championship for 10 times,” he added.
Iran futsal team left Tehran on Sunday for the competition.
The 2016 AFC Futsal Championship will be the 14th edition of the AFC Futsal Championship and will be held in Uzbekistan from February 10 to 21. A total of 16 teams will play in the tournament.
The tournament acts as the AFC qualifiers for the World Cup. The top five teams of the tournament will qualify for the 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup in Colombia as the AFC representatives.
