Iran’s Esteghlal Loses to Sweden’s Hammarby in Friendly
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal of Tehran lost to Sweden’s Hammarby football team in a friendly match on Friday.
The Iranian outfit was defeated 2-1 in the match held in Stockholm’s Tele2 Arena.
Meysam Majidi gave the visiting team a lead in the 3rd minute from the penalty spot.
Dusan Jajic in the 62nd and Isac Lidberg in the 68th minutes scored for Hammarby.
Iran Professional League (IPL) leader will return to Tehran on Saturday.
