Iran U-20 Volleyball Team Defeats Slovenia in Friendly
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran U-20 volleyball team beat Slovenia for the third time in a row in a friendly on Monday.
Behrouz Ataei’s boys, who had defeated the Slovenian team in their two previous friendly matches, beat the hosts in straight sets (25-20, 25-21, 25-22) for the third time in Maribor.
The Iranian team traveled to Spain on Tuesday to hold a three-day training camp in the country.
Iran is preparing for the 18th Asian Men’s U-20 Championship, which is scheduled to take place in Koahsiung, Chinese Taipei on July 9-17.
The defending champion has been drawn in Pool B with Qatar, a team from Central Zone and Hong Kong.
