Amir Ghalenoei Thanks Tractor Sazi’s Fans for Support
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Amir Ghalenoei has thanked the fans for supporting Tractor Sazi in the match against Al Nasr of the UAE in the AFC Champions League Round of 16.
Tractor Sazi defeated the Emirati football team 3-1 on Tuesday in packed Yadegar Emam Stadium but was knocked out of the competition due to suffering 4-1 loss in the first leg.
“I congratulate Al Nasr on this victory and I also thank the our fans for their support,” said Ghalenoei.
“We should have scored five or six goals but it didn’t happen."
"Despite our good performance, we didn’t get the result we needed. This is one of my bad days. We played good football but couldn’t emerge victorious,” he added.
