Two Killed after Shooting in Texas
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Two people were killed following a shooting in the US state of Texas.
It comes after gunfire was heard at Memorial Drive in west Houston on Sunday night, with reports of a male firing shots in the area.
Police said one of the deceased was a suspect who was killed at the scene, while another suspect was wounded and taken to hospital in a critical condition.
A citizen was also found dead inside a vehicle, Sky News reported.
Three other civilians were shot, along with two police officers who have now been released from hospital.
The local police department locked down the area and warned residents to stay indoors as they moved in on the shooter.
