We Must Forget France Match: Saeid Marouf

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian national volleyball team's captain Saeid Marouf said that the team should forget the defeat against France and think about the next matches.

Iran suffered a 3-0 defeat to France at the Men’s World Olympic Qualification Tournament at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium on Tuesday.

“For the last two years, we have played France many times and always lost. They are a strong team,” Marouf told fivb.com.

“Our side-out (receiving, setting, spiking) was the problem today. We have to forget about this match and think about our next matches,” the captain added.

Iran has been scheduled to meet host Japan on Wednesday.
