Carlos Queiroz’s men was originally scheduled to travel to Armenia in mid- June to hold their nine-day training camp in the country.
The team was also supposed to travel to Austria to continue its preparation for the 2018 World Cup qualification after the Armenia’s camp.
Last week, Persepolis coach Branko Ivankovic had said he needs his players for the pre-season training and will not let them to join the national team's preparatory camp.
"I wanted to help the national team to prepare well for the 2018 World Cup qualification third round but some coaches prevented their players to join Team Melli,” Queiroz said.
"No matter what's going on, if you want to advance to the World Cup you need to prepare well for the competition. Now, I’ve made my decision. We canceled the camps and jut join together four days prior to Qatar match on September 1 in Tehran,” Queiroz said.
Iran has been pitted against South Korea, Uzbekistan, Qatar, China and Syria in Group A.
