3 Armed Thugs Killed Southeast of Iran

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian intelligence forces killed 3 armed outlaws in the southeastern province of Kerman on Thursday night, a security official said.

The provincial intelligence forces clashed with a groups of armed outlaws near Roudbar region on Thursday night, Khalil Homaei, a top security official at Kerman’s governorate told Tasnim on Friday morning.

According to the official, 3 armed criminals were killed in the clash, which occurred in the highland areas of Kooshah zone.

According to Homaei, an operation is still underway to cleanse the area of criminals.

The incident follows several successful operations against terrorist groups along the Iranian borders in the past weeks.

On June 13, troops from the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Force killed five members of the Party for Free Life in Kurdistan (PJAK) terrorist group in an ambush in Sardasht region in the northwestern province of West Azerbaijan.

On the same day, Iranian police forces killed five members of the Jaish-ul-Adl terrorist group in an exchange of fire in the southeastern province of Sistan and Balouchestan, while a trooper was also martyred.

And on June 15, the IRGC forces killed a number of militants in clashes with two terrorist teams trying to intrude into Oshnavieh border area near the frontier with Iraq.
