KABUL (Tasnim) – Hundreds of Afghan people took part in the funeral procession held for protesters who lost their lives during a recent terrorist attack in the capital, Kabul.

According to Tasnim dispatches, the funeral ceremony was held on Sunday a day after explosions ripped through the district of Dehmazang in Kabul where hundreds of people were protesting over a controversial power line.

The participants called on the government to take to justice all those behind the terrorist bombings.

During the blasts, at least 80 people were killed and 230 others sustained serious injuries.

The demonstrators had gathered to demand that a multi-million-dollar power line pass through their electricity-starved province of Bamiyan, one of the most deprived areas of Afghanistan with a large Hazara population.
