Iran Downs Bahrain at Continental Beach Soccer Tournament
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Bahrain 10-1 in its opening match at the 2016 Continental Beach Soccer Tournament.
On Wednesday, the Iranian team will meet Japan, who defeated Thailand 12-4 on Tuesday.
The three-day tournament is being held in Ordos, China.
The top eight Asian teams namely, Iran, China, Bahrain, Japan, Vietnam, Oman, Thailand and Lebanon are participating in the event.
The Iranian team takes part in the competition as part of its preparation for the 2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup qualification.
