Axis of Resistance Spreading through Entire Muslim World: IRGC Adviser
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The advisor to the commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) for media affairs underlined that attempts made by hegemonic powers to sow divisions among Muslims have been futile as the Axis of Resistance is spreading through the whole Islamic World.
Speaking at a ceremony held in Iran’s northeastern city of Mashhad to officially inaugurate the Urdu service of the Tasnim News Agency and its office specialized in Indian subcontinent affairs, Hamidreza Moqaddamfar highlighted the plots hatched by the US and its allies to divide Muslims, saying that the schemes have backfired.
The Takfiris (extremists) are stooges of the US and the Zionist regime of Israel aiming to undermine Muslims, he said, adding that however, the outcome of their activities have finally been to the benefit of the true Islam.
“The (anti-Israeli) Axis of Resistance is spreading through the whole Muslim world,” the IRGC adviser noted.
“Religious bonds in the Muslim world have emerged as a necessity,” he stated, adding that unity among Muslims is increasing day by day.
In recent years, the Middle East region has been plagued with Takfiri terrorist groups like Daesh (also known as ISIS or ISIL), which are believed to have been created and supported by the West and some regional Arab countries.
The terrorist groups, which claim to be Islamic but whose actions are anything but, have been committing heinous crimes not only against non-Muslims, but mostly against Muslims in the region.
The Daesh terror group claims as an independent state the territory of Iraq and Syria, with implied future claims intended over more of the Levant, including Lebanon, occupied Palestine, Jordan, Cyprus, and Southern Turkey.
