Iran Win Two More Gold Medals at Asian Beach Games
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian athletes took two more gold medals in the 5th Asian Beach Games.
Soleymani claimed the gold medal in Muay Thai in the Men's Welterweight 63.5 - 67 kg after beating Kazakhstan’s Zhanibek Kanatbayev.
Masoud Minaei also beat Vietnamese Hung Truong Quoc in the Men's Light Middleweight 67 - 71 kg Muay Thai.
Mohammadhossein Sheikholeslami in Kurash has also won a gold medal.
Amirhossein Khademian in Ju-Jitsu and Sobhan Taherkhani have won two bronze medals respectively.
Ghanbarali Ghanbari has seized a silver in Kurash.
The 5th Asian Beach Games started on September 24 in the Vietnamese city of Danang and will finish on October 3.
The event has brought around 3,000 Asian beach sports athletes competing in 14 sports, 22 disciplines and 172 events together.
