Iran Football Team Beats Armenia’s Shirak in Friendly
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian national football team defeated Armenian football club in a friendly on Wednesday.
Carlos Queiroz’s men defeated Shirak 2-0 in their training camp in Yerevan as part of the preperation for the World Cup.
Iran will play Uzbekistan in Group A on October 6th in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in the final Asian qualifying round for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Team Melli will host South Korea on October 11 in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
Uzbekistan sits top of the group with six points, followed by Iran and South Korea with four points each.
