Iran’s Sarkhosh Wins Gold at Asian Billiards Sports C’ship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Amir Sarkhosh from Iran claimed a gold medal at the Snooker Single 15-Red event of ACBS 1st Asian Billiards Sports Championship.
Sarkhosh defeated Omar Alajlani of Saudi Arabia 5-3 in the final match and won the gold medal.
He had already defeated Pakistan’s Muhammad Asif 5-0 in the semi-final.
Iran also finished in second place after suffering defeat against Pakistan at the 1st Asian Confederation for Billiards Sports Championship team event.
The Iranian team consists of Amir Sarkhosh, Soheil Vahedi and Arman Dinarvand was defeated against the Pakistani team — Muhammad Bilal, Babar Masih and former IBSF World Champion Muhammad Asif — in the event.
The competition got underway in Al-Fujairah, the UAE.
