Iran's Azad University Basketball Club Sign Two American Players
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Azad University basketball club from Iran has completed signing of two American players.
The Iranian club has signed Joseph CostelloReshawn Jones and John Edward "J. P." Prince.
Jones has played for STB Le Havre, CAI Zaragoza and Cangrejeros de Santurce.
The 2.06m center averaged 6.6 points and 2.8 rebounds in the last season.
John Edward has also played for Telenet Oostende, Cholet Basket and Trabzonspor.
The 2.03 shooting guard has joined Azad University on a one-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
The Iranian team is going to strengthen for the Asian Club Championship.
