Iranian Documentary on Taliban to Be Screened at Italy’s Sole Luna Festival
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – 'Alone among the Taliban', an outstanding documentary produced by an Iranian filmmaker about the Taliban militant group, is planned to be showcased in the Sole Luna International Documentary Film Festival in Italy.
The documentary would be screened at the 12th edition of the Sole Luna International Documentary Film Festival in Milan on May 3 and May 7.
“Alone among the Taliban” produced by Mohsen Eslamzadeh would be displayed in a category titled “human rights”.
In the 19th edition of DetectiveFEST held in the Russian capital of Moscow from April 17 to 21, the documentary received an honorable mention in a category titled “Terrorism, a Threat to Peace”.
The 65-minute documentary portrays the director’s 15-day stay among the Taliban militants in Afghanistan.
