Over 40 Saudi Military Vehicles Destroyed in Hudaydah in 6 Days: Report

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – More than 44 military vehicles belonging to Saudi-led mercenaries and UAE forces have been destroyed in Hudaydah since the start on Wednesday of a Saudi-led aggression against the western Yemeni port city, a report said.

Over the past six days, Yemeni army troops and popular forces have managed to target and destroy at least 44 military vehicles in the Arab country’s west coast front, according to the report carried by Saba news agency.

The army has also cut off mercenaries’ supply routes in the areas of Nukhailah, Faza and Jah, it added.

The Saudi-led coalition and its mercenaries began the massive operation on Wednesday to bring Yemen’s port city under their control.

While the Yemeni army and popular committees are fighting off the assailants and countering attacks on residential areas, international humanitarian organizations have warned of dire consequences of any escalation of violence around Hudaydah.

UN Humanitarian Coordinator Lise Grande recently said “as many as 250,000 people may lose everything -even their lives,” if there is a military attack on Hudaydah.
