Iraqi International Ayman Hussein on Esteghlal’s Radar

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iraq’s Al-Naft striker Ayman Hussein Ghadhban has been linked with a move to Esteghlal football team of Iran.

Esteghlal is eying the 22-year-old Iraqi international striker after parting company with its Senegalese attacker Mame Baba Thiam.

Aymen Huussein started his playing career in Tuz Khormato in 2011 and has also played in Duhok and Al Shorta.

He has made 22 appearances for Iraq national football team and scored one goal.

Esteghlal has reportedly reached an agreement with Zob Ahan striker Morteza Tabrizi.

The Iranian team must strengthen itself since it will face Qatar’s Al Sadd in the AFC Champions League’s quarter-final in late August.
