Asian Para Games: Iranian Shot Putter Arezou Rahimi Wins Gold
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s shot putter Arezou Rahimi claimed a gold medal at the Women's Shot Put F32 in the 2018 Asian Para Games on Thursday.
Rahimi won the gold medal with a throw of 4.27m.
The silver medal went to Thekra from the UAE who threw 4.13m.
About 3,000 athletes with disabilities from a record 43 countries and territories are taking part in the games that opened in the Indonesian capital on Saturday.
The Asian Para Games will run through October 13.
