Terrorists’ Shelling Kills, Injures 27 Civilians in Syria’s Aleppo


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Twelve civilians were killed and 15 others sustained injuries after Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group, formerly known as al-Nusra Front, pounded residential areas in Aleppo with mortar rounds.

Al-Nusra militants heavily pounded civilian areas in Aleppo western countryside from the direction of Khan Touman and al-Rashedin on Sunday evening, SANA reported.

The village of al-Wadehi in southern areas of Aleppo also came under militants' fire.

According to some reports, a wedding party was hit by the terrorist mortar attack.

The attacks claimed the lives of 12 civilians, injured 15 others and caused material damage to houses and properties.
