Iran is scheduled to meet the Philippines on Sunday in 17th–32nd Classification.
"We respect (the Philippines) so much. We know that they can score very well. They have great players and a naturalized player in Andray Blatche. It's a difficult team (to play against) like Angola," Shahintab said.
The Iran coach also said that they deserved to beat Angola.
“We showed a good performance in the second half and deserved to win. We are improving game by game. The competition has brought the best teams in the world together,” he added.
