Alireza Sohrabi Appointed as Head of FFIRI Referees Committee
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran (FFIRI) acting president Heydar Baharvand appointed Alireza Sohrabi as head of referees committee.
Sohrabi replaced Hedayatollah Mombeini in the position.
Sohrabi, 48, is a former international football and futsal referee.
He has officiated at 2008 and 2012 Futsal World Cup in Brazil and Thailand.
