Iran’s Health Ministry Reports 210 New Coronavirus Deaths


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran has registered 210 new coronavirus deaths in the past 24 hours, taking the total to 28,098, the Health Ministry reported on Friday.

Ministry Spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari told state TV that there were 4,142 new cases, with the total of identified cases rising to 492,378.

Over 401,000 patients have recovered from the coronavirus infection so far or have been discharged from hospitals across Iran, she said.

The number of people infected with COVID-19 across the world has surpassed 36.8 million and the death toll has exceeded 1,067,560.
